Woodlay Local Activities

Sea fishing

The famous Cornish fishing village of Looe is just 8 miles away and is famous for its excellent shark/sea fishing. If you’d prefer something a little less dramatic, there are regular mackerel fishing trips. These can all be booked from the quayside.

Beaches

There’s a large sandy beach at Looe and many pretty coves to explore along the south Cornish coast.

The North Cornish coast is only half an hour’s drive away with fantastic surfing beaches at Polzeath, Watergate Bay, Newquay and Perranporth.
